Balo Ortiz, Executive Sushi Chef
Balo began his sushi career at our fifteen-year iconic award-winning, Zen 32 trained by Japanese Master Chefs along with Lenny Rosenberg as the first contemporary American-owned sushi restaurant in the Valley of the Sun. He has worked in a variety of restaurants, kitchen and chef positions throughout his culinary career. His artistic eye and creative skills are influenced by his world-wide travels. Balo’s love for Japanese cuisine and his unique perspective are captured throughout Delux’s menu.
