The Delux
Story
In 2004, veteran Phoenix restaurateur Lenny Rosenberg opened Delux, the very first original gourmet burger restaurant in Phoenix. To provide the finest quality beef, he partnered with the respected Niman Ranch to develop the Delux exclusive proprietary blend, which resulted in the all-natural award-winning gourmet burger. Niman Ranch cattle are only fed a 100% vegetarian diet without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Niman Ranch beef products are humanely raised on environmentally sustainable ranches.
To complement the superb burgers and other menu items, Delux offers 40 craft beers on tap, from several local breweries as well as imported drafts. Additionally, Delux serves wine, mixed drinks, specialty cocktails, Japanese beers and sake.
Former guests of Mr. Rosenberg’s iconic Zen32 sushi restaurant suggested that he bring back the quality fresh sushi and uniqueness of Zen32. Shortly thereafter, a new sushi bar was launched at Delux and was enthusiastically accepted by former Zen32 and Delux guests.
Delux was delighted when Balo Ortiz, the Executive Sushi Chef from Zen32, joined the Delux team to bring his unique recipes from Zen32, as well as his excellent sushi creativity and expertise.
Diners have expressed how pleased they are to have the choice of the grill menu, as well as the Zen sushi menu. Sushi is flown in fresh daily from a renown Japanese supplier, another hallmark of this commitment to quality.
Over the years, Delux has earned more than 50 local and national awards. In August 2018, Delux was once again awarded Best Burger by Phoenix Magazine.
The late-night concept has been a signature highlight of all of Mr. Rosenberg’s restaurants. His past successful restaurant concepts include: Central Avenue Yacht Club, Chaps Ribs & Whiskey, The Original 5 & Diner, Blue Burrito Grille, Zen32 Sushi, Revo Burrito and Mexx32, to name a few.
Delux serves lunch and dinner from 11am to 2am (late-night 7 days a week). They also offer Early Happy Hour (Mon – Fri 3pm -7pm) and Reverse Happy Hour (daily 10pm – 2am late night) Happy Hour Specials include the grill and sushi, as well as liquor spirits. Sushi is served Sun – Thurs 4pm to 12am midnight and Fri & Sat 4pm to 2am (late night). Sushi Happy Hour is now daily from 4pm til close.
